Reynolds Equipment announces the addition of the Jekko USA Lithium Battery powered SPX1280 minicrane
Reynolds is the first in the United States to carry this powerful new crane. The crane incorporates a three phase 20 kilowatt electric engine powered by a 96 volt 400 amp-hour lithium battery. The lithium pack provides constant performance from 100% to 1% battery level. It can be charged to full capacity in less than 6 hours and provides enough power to operate for a full day of work. It also has the ability to operate while being charged, giving it near endless use.
The main boom has a maximum capacity of 17,600 pounds and maximum reach of 64 feet 8 inches. Add to that the onboard hydraulic jib and now you increase the max reach to 87 feet 7 inches while maintaining a max capacity of 3300 pounds. This crane can also pick and carry a load up to 4400 pounds, 360 degrees.
The hydraulic operated spider like outrigger system has 5 levels of stabilization on 4 stability areas. Each outrigger can be positioned from 0 to 45 degrees and extended to the full X pattern with a footprint of only 15 feet 1 inch, providing a full load chart for the endless rotating 360 degrees.
The remote control for this crane features an LCD screen which provides all the necessary information including battery level, along with multifunctioning proportional controls. Virtual walls can be set up through the remote to keep the work zones safe. It also provides alarm and error diagnostics.
All of the accessories like the pulley heads and pulley block are mounted onboard for ease of access.

This machines first jobs ranged from hanging steel to setting glass which showcased the versatility of this crane without sacrificing reach, or capacity. Both applications utilized the opportunity of cranes compact crawling footprint which can fit easily through a double-door. Reynolds also owns an articulating glass handler that can be placed on either the main boom, or jib for extra reach.
